Christmas in Mackay

We spent the weekend following Christmas in Mackay. James had a fun time with Dustin and Dad on the Snow machines. Grammy bought a baby gift for James and I and Braxton loves it. I love the look on Jaten's face.

Merry Christmas!

James and I spent Christmas morning with just the two of us our our dogs! We slept in, made breakfast and opened our presents from each other. After we went to our friends Tom and Sarah's (mostly because we wanted to play with their kids) and then we went to James' parents house for dinner and more gifts.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

wow,Fruitland usually gets a little bit of snow every year but this year we already got dumped on. We got over a foot in 24 hours, My car is buried in snow so James took the Truck to work and I guess I'll just stay home until we can dig it out!

Our Christmas WISH.

We got our tree all Decorated. I love this time of year. We have had such a great year. We feel so blessed.
We Got our christmas wish already, We have a baby coming in JULY! We just got its first Photo shoot done, everything looks great. We were laughing because when the ultrasound was on the baby started moving its hands up and down, James was so happy to see that our gummi bear is already rubbing his head...just like its dad!!! We are so excited and feel so blessed!

Its a Charlie Brown Christmas TREE!

James REALLY wanted a real Tree this year. Growing up he never went into the mountains to get a tree, so I decided that if we were going to have a real tree it needed to be one from the mountains so we went up with three other families to get our First REAL tree. James did find a beautiful tree, yet he didn't realize that we don't have enough room in our small house for a 15 foot tree so after we cut it down to fit, it is charlie brownish, but I still love it!!!

Turkey DAY!

I was very greatful that everyone could come to Boise this year for Thanksgiving. With James always having to work the next day it is really hard to make it to Mackay and back. But we had a great time. Ivie and Josh were great hosts. (Ivie has always been the hostess with the mostess!) We were also able to have dinner left overs the next night with James' Grandparents.

Thanksgiving!

Sorry I have some catching up to do with my blogging but better late then never right? Haylee had a thanksgiving play at her school so I took Kyla and Kole (shila's kids) to watch. Kindergartners are so great! Rylee (tim and sarah's daughter) was also in it.

Our Primerica team had a big event in SLC this last weekend. We were the #2 Baseshop and we were competing against several baseshops that have been around 6 or 7 years and we have only been going since June. It was an awesome event!

Late Halloween Posts

I was able to spend Halloween with Braxten and Jaten at the state Volleyball Toun. They had so much fun Trick or Treating and going to the game dressed up.

Wow 4 years old. He even sounds older and more mature. He makes me laugh everyday. I talk to him everyday on the phone most of the time our conversation is all about uncle Jimmy but I still LOVE every minute of it. So have a very happy birthday buddy I wish I could be there!

Looks like We Made IT!

One whole year. We celebrated our first anniversary yesterday. We didn't really do anything exciting. We went to dinner on Sunday and Monday James got inducted into the Elks!! I had appointments but I came late and got to see a couple of video's about the elks. I still don't really understand what they do...but James wanted to join because they have dinner every Tuesday for $4, and they have poker night once a month. His grandfather is an Elk so I guess they can go together.

But it has been a wonderful year. Everyone told us that the first year is the hardest, I really hope so because I didn't think it was hard at all. We have such a good time together, its great to spend every night with your best friend. I can't wait to spend the next 80 years with him. He is such a great guy, he works so hard and has a great heart. Plus he can always make me laugh and as long as I am laughing I can't complain.

I love you babe. Thanks for making this year so great!

dustin the trickster

Dustin is always being a trickster but this time he managed to get almost everyone. He has them place a funnel in the edge of their pants and they place a penny on their head and try to get it into the funnel. Although when they place their head back to put the penny on it he dumps water into the funnel. Way too funny.

Lets go to the MOON

James and I went to Mackay for the weekend, and since both of us had friday off we were able to leave earlier than usual, So we stopped at Craters of the Moon. I love that place and James has never been there so we stopped and walked around. We went to one cave but I wasn't prepared (I was wearing a dress and ballet slippers) But we had a good time.

Salsa Season

James had a co-worker give him two large boxes of tomatoes. He really wanted me to help him make salsa but I haven't had any extra time this week, between finishing up my full time job and still working everynight. I was surprised to come home late wednsday night to find Dave and James making salsa. Not only did they make salsa, they also decided to can it. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CAN. But they figured it out and after six hours they came away with 5 and 3/4 canned jars of Salsa....can't wait for him to try making bread!

Roaring Springs

I had forgotten how much fun roaring springs is. Thanks to Dave and golds gym we all got free all day passes. We were excited to go and just lay in the sun, but after we got there we didn't sit at all. We went on all the slides, played in the wave pool and hung out in the lazy river. Dave and James would go on all the slides together because with the amount of weight they were able to put on one little tube they would go really fast. It was funny to see those big guys riding a tube together though.
