James and I had not one but 2 friends pass away this last week both from Cancer. Oh how I hate cancer! But when those that are close to you pass away it does make you reflect on the things that are really important. Our friend Ryan passed away at the very young age of 30, he has 2 adorable boys and a very brave and strong wife. In such a short time on this earth he was able to leave a legacy to his two young boys. It has been a good reminder that life is short, Jordan loves to walk herself into daycare and into the stores, so many times I have carried her in because she doesn't walk very fast, she likes to stop and pick up the rocks, and look at the flowers and wave to the neighbors, etc. This last week we have left just a few minutes earlier so that she can walk! I realized that these years and moments are precious and I need to enjoy them, not hurry them along. I have realized that dishes wait until morning, its more important to snuggle on the sofa with my husband I can do the dishes later when he isn't home. Ryan had just a few short months to tell his family and his friends how he felt, and he did. Our other friend Gus was diagnosed and passed away 6 days later, such a tragedy but I learned at the funeral that Gus always told his friends and family how he felt,he left nothing unsaid, how fortunate that he had no regrets in his final hours. I am so blessed to have the family that I have, I just pray that I don't forget to "LIVE" because we don't know how long we are here.

Red Fish Lake!

I love Redfish, I have gone their every year my whole life and it so awesome to be able to take my family there now. Jordan loved camping, loved the tent, loved the beach, loved not taking any naps, loved the freezing cold water, loved playing with her cousins and her gramie and papa and aunts and uncles. It was a lot of work chasing her around but it was so worth it. I love that we can spend the time with my family. We love being together. The weather couldn't have been better 80 degree's sure beats the 103 we were getting at home!

Jordan's Birthday Party

I know I am a little late posting pictures of her birthday party but I wanted to make sure I have them for my memory bank. We had a great Lady bug birthday party, lots of friends and family. It was so hot that we pulled out the pool and the slip n slide to cool off. Aunt Lindsey bought her this little diva outfit. So cute!!! Can you tell that she has boys!! Jordan had so much fun and got so many great gifts including 19 new outfits! It was like having another baby shower for me!

Wow I can not believe how fast the year has gone by. I just keep thinking about where we were a year ago and how excited we were to finally bring her into the world. We had a little bit of a struggle the first few months with her being alergic to milk and a little bit colic (probably from the milk). But everyday has been such a joy with her. She is always full of smiles, people come up to her when we are shopping because she is always smiling or waving to everyone she see's. She is so good and so smart I love watching her learn and knowing that her little brain is always trying to figure things out, even when we are not sure what she is trying to figure out. She started walking 3 weeks ago and is now all over the place. She can say Dadda, Mamma, Dog, quack, Kyla, Papa, No, and Ya. She still loves books and loves to dance to any kind of music. She loves her bike trailer, we go for long bike rides almost everyday. So far she is not really interested in "real" toys, she loves tuperware, pots and pans, lotion and shampoo bottles and my cell phone! She is such good help loading and unloading the dishwasher =) and she loves the Vacuum. She is seems to be doing good drinking Goats milk, so we are hoping that eventully we will be able to get her on other dairy milk and foods. Her favorite food is Peas, Corn, gram crackers, and Cheeto's. I love being a mom more than anything in the world. I want to spend every minute with her. She is an absolute Joy! I love you baby girl, Happy Birthday.

11 months

I know I don't blog as much as I use to, my laptop is having some serious issues and I hate to start anything knowing it may freeze up. Jordan is now 11 months old, WOW time flies. She is so fun, her little personality is really starting to come out. She loves to fake cough and fake laugh. She quacks like a duck, says Uh-oh and she is learning sign language. She is picking up on it really fast. She took her first three steps last week but now she only wants to walk if she has your hand or with her toy, hopefully she get the courage to try again. She is very independent and does things her way or the highway! I love it. We took her camping a couple of weeks ago and she was in heaven, so was I (she slept in until 9 or 10 every morning). I do have to say camping with an 11 month old is much easier than camping last summer with a three week old! We bought her a used bike trailer on craigs list so we go on lots of bike rides now. She loves to be outside, always has, must have something to do with being a summer baby. We are getting excited to celebrate her 1st birthday next month although I still can't believe it has been a year since we had her.

Several years ago, close to twenty years ago. My sister got this lovely mermaid doll for Christmas. She loved the doll and every time you would squeeze it, it would sing..ah ah ahhhh! It was a beautiful sound for a five year old. But for my brother and I it was total annoyance. It was so loud and after hearing it sing all day and night for several days. We decided something needed to be done, so we carefully removed the battery. For a couple hours we had peace and quiet again. Although it didn't take long for Lindsey to figure it out and with the help of my parents the battery was replaced. So again we heard the irritating ahh ahhh ahhhh. After several weeks of this, Ryan and I decided to end the sound once and for all. With a pair of cheap scissors we took the mermaid and clipped the wires and told Lindsey that the doll was broken. Well this did not go over well.. she cried and cried and for years we never told her that we were responsible for the loss. She has never forgiven us even 20 years later. Every year at Christmas time we are reminded of how cruel we were. This year we were reminded again of how horrible we were to our sister and our "little girls" were given matching gifts from Aunt Lindsey....

The dreaded doll was Jordan and Kambree's to take home. After bidding for months on Ebay and paying far to much, Lindsey was able to find three of the magic mermaid dolls one for Jordan, one for Kambree and one for her! She knew that there was no way we would deny our girls of the doll. Jordan loves the mermaid and so does Kambree. I guess you have to be careful, karma comes around and bites you hard!

Wow, life is always so busy it seems like I am not taking the time to Blog as much. But I know that it is important for Jordan's journal to be updated.

We enjoyed having all of my family in town for the weekend. Dallin was playing in the State Basketball tournament. (great Job Mackay!) Dustin and Lindsey and boys were able to come out and stay with us. Dustin installed new carpet in our bedroom, it is so nice! (thank you so much Dustin) We took all the kids to the McDonalds play land in Caldwell, we have a favorite one that we always go to, the kids love to play on it. Kambree even managed to put some kid in time-out for "2 minutes", I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Jordan got another tooth and is crawling all over the place. She has been able to get around for a couple of months now so I wondered if she would ever actually crawl. But she has it figured out now! Time to move the DVD's and everything else that she has managed to pull out daily. I started coaching club volleyball, Jordan comes to practice with me she loves to ride in the ball cart and she hands the girls balls when they come over to her. I have yet to get a picture of this but I need to because it is so funny.

Jordan is growing up so fast, it is hard to believe that she is already 8 months old. She likes to give high five and clap her hands. She is very busy so I am sure we have our hands full will her now that she is moving.

Along with new carpet we put in a fence around our yard. We love having a private back yard and our dogs love it. (even though they are digging holes in our yard now!) We are excited for spring, I love spring I have some tulips popping up and I am always excited for my cherry tree to bloom, if we ever move, I am going to have to find a way to take the tree with us! I love this picture of Braxten and Jordie in the tub. She loves the boys so much, Braxten couldn't get away from her. She would slide right up to him so that she was touching him the whole time!

Christmas Time

We were in Mackay for Christmas this year. It was so fun, we enjoyed mom's Christmas Eve dinner with Bella and Papa Lynn. Jordan experienced her first Rib bone. She loved it. Her Grammy gives her whatever she wants! Then we opened up her Christmas Jammies and She got a book from Bella and Papa lynn, it is so cool. Papa Lynn read the night before christmas and recorded it in the book. I love books and so does Jordan, it was a perfect gift for us to have every christmas eve. We stayed up late playing Yahtzee. Christmas morning we got up early with uncle Dallin (we had to wake up uncle dallin!) We enjoyed seeing our gifts from santa. Jordan was more interested in wrapping paper and bows but she will enjoy the toys later when the wrapping paper is gone. Later we enjoyed brunch with Papa Lynn and Bella. James made his first Turkey on the Traeger grill. It was so good. We had a big dinner with Dustin and Lindsey and her boys. We also played more Yahtzee! Saturday we went over to visit with Grandma Pearson who is nearly 92 years old. Jordan, hugged and kissed her over and over again. (Jordan is not the huggie type) she loved seeing grandma. Later James made a roast on the traeger and smoked sweet potatoes (my fav) It was a wonderful Christmas. We have been so blessed this year, with adding Jordan to our family, both of us having work and good health, 2 wonderful families, and so much to be thankful for.

Jordan wore her chrismas dress for family pictures the other day. She looked so cute. She is now sitting up and loves her high chair (thanks Auntie Ivie for handing it down) She still loves her toys, all of them. Although her nana gave her a monkey toy early as a christmas present and everytime the monkey talks her lip pouts and she starts to cry. We are going to keep trying it though maybe by christmas she will decide she likes it. We are excited to spend christmas in mackay this year, hopefully the weather makes the drive good. I love this time of year.

5 Months old!

Wow time flies! Its already December and everyday I am reminded of how time moves so quickly, Jordan is growing like a weed. She is up to almost 16lbs and 26inches long. She is in the 75th percentile against other babies her age. She is rolling over and can sit up for short periods of time. She started eating solid foods this last week. Her doctor wanted me to wait until she was 6 months old because of her tummy issues but she has been showing a lot of interest in real food so I went out on my own whim and started her on cereal and vegi's.

I started a new job at the first of the month with a credit union. So far I love it. It is so nice working close to home and being able to be home with Jordan more. It is almost stress free, so that makes life nice in the evenings.

We are getting excited for the holiday season and Jordan enjoy's looking at the tree. I took her to see santa and she liked that too. I think she is taking after her mama when it comes to Christmas! We get to spend christmas in Mackay this year and we are very excited for that.

Three months!

Wow we have been so busy! I started volleyball, started back to work, and got not one but two new sister in laws in september. Devin got married to Kiley, and Brian (James' brother) married Carolyn. It was so nice to be with family. The other 2 weekends were spent at volleyball tournaments. Jordan is already a gym rat. She loves the gym, the girls, and the noise! My volleyball team is 10-1. I love it. Jordan loves her babysitter and is getting use to our crazy life style. She giggles at everything now and I love spending every extra minute with her. (even the middle of the night minutes!) Three more weeks of volleyball and "maybe" our lives will settle down a little bit.

7 weeks

Jordan is already 7 weeks old. It went by way too fast. I had to go back to work last week. It was so hard. At least I only have to work part time. We had a tuff week, I had to go back to work, she was still screaming in pain everytime she ate, and I felt so bad for our babysitter and for Jordan. But after several tests, a trip to St. Lukes and lots of prayers we were able to figure out that not only is she allergic to milk but also soy. Both were causing her abdominal pain and her face was broke out in a rash. After taking her off both and putting her back on Breast milk only she is finally feeling good again. We did find a formula for babies with milk and Soy allergies, she is taking it now with no problems. (of course it is $30 for a 14oz can...ouch) She is such a good baby when she is feeling good. She has even slept through the night a couple of times! She is smiling and loves to "talk"! James and I are enjoying every minute with her.

We love going to Redfish Lake every year. This year we thought about staying home because camping with a one month old seemed crazy but we made it work. Jordan did great, we did get a motel one of the three nights but she loved camping! It was so fun having all of the family there and just relaxing. James learned to surf behind mikes boat and is trying to figure out how he can surf behind our boat. I am excited to take Jordan next year when she will be big enough to enjoy the beach and the water.

Sorry it has taken me so long to blog...July 2nd we brought Jordan Renee into the world. It was such an awesome and overwhelming day. James and I went into the Birthing Center at 8:oo. I was given my first dose of antibiotics for group strep B. Then we went to breakfast. I had been having contractions for 2 days but nothing was progressing. We came back and got the 2nd dose of antibiotics and at 12:30 my doctor stoped by and broke my water. My contractions got a lot harder and more consistant. At 3:10 I was dialated to a 7 and started to wonder what I was thinking trying to do this with out any meds. But 4 short minutes later I was at a 10. My doctor had to run over its a good thing her office is only across the parking lot! At 3:34 Jordan Renee was here and both James and I were completly overwhelmed. She is a absolutly perfect and such a joy to have in out lives. It was so great to have both of our families there shortly after she was born. We are so Blessed!

Happy Fathers day to my Father in Law! I really lucked out on in laws. Lonnie is such a great guy and it is so nice to feel like you are instantly just part of his family. He would give you the the shirt off his back and never think twice about it. Thanks for all you do. WE love you!

I had a 2nd baby shower this weekend with friends and family from Fruitland. Again we got some great stuff. I finally feel like we are ready to get her here...well in 4 weeks! We had great food and it was fun to have everyone together.

James' 4 day weekend!

James had four days off over memorial day weekend, he played the entire weekend. Friday night him and Tommy took Thomas and his 2 friends to WWE RAW! James isn't a huge fan of wrestling but Tommy didn't want to go alone with the kids so James went too. They all loved it.

They guys also went fishing friday morning and saturday. They caught 815 crappie! In two days! They learned a great lesson however...if you catch 815 fish...you have to CLEAN 815 fish! They were cleaning and cutting fish for almost 4 hours on saturday night. So we are planning a big fish fry later this summer. EVERYONE we know is invited! He also managed to take a half of day to golf over the weekend!

Sorry it took me almost a week to post this...I've been too busy. Ivie, Lindsey, and McKinzie threw me a baby show last weekend when all of my family was in town. It was so nice to have everyone here. I got a lot of great stuff for our little girl.

7 months!

Well we are up to 7 months! She is really growing and I am starting to look and feel prego! Its fun though. She is measuring a week early so we may be moving the due date up...So far I have gained -9 lbs. I lost 10 lbs when I was so sick in the first trimester and I thought for sure I had caught back up this month but at my last visit I had only gained 1lb. But the doctor isnt worried anymore because she is measuring big! We got the nursery painted. I am still trying to decide on window treatments and looking for a new celing fan. But I am hoping to have all of that done soon.

I have become slighly obsessed with coupons lately, I love saving money and I didn't realize until recently how much money a person could save with coupons. Today I bought 8 cans of Pringles, 4 tubes of toothpast, palmolive, acid control (for my never ending heart burn, 2 air wick plug-ins, a box of cakesters, and a box of wildflower seeds.....all for a grad total of $5.53! I also got a $1 off my next visit.

James and Chad are members of the Elks Foundation (mostly old men). They had a Chili feed on saturday night so we all decided to go and support Karen's chili. Well we didn't know that the guys were going to provide the entertainment! So James, Chad, Tommy and Lonnie (James' dad) formed a new group "Tommy and the Dreamers" Here is a couple clips of the the great performance lol! Many of the members have hearing aids, they were happy to turn down!

I love target but I would really like to ask someone what they were thinking when they decided to add this suit to their new spring line. yes, it is one piece, yes it is lycra, yes lindsey is going to kill me for posting this video! So after 13+ years of dragging Dallin to State tournaments, It was finally his turn. Mackay had a great weekend of Basketball and came out state champs!!!! It was so much fun to have all of the family here and to be able to spend the weekend together and support Dallin.

Well some of you may know that James and his buddies decided to go into the pig business a few months ago, One friend made the investment and the other 2 help build fence and feed with pay in pigs! I hate the pigs, they stink, they are loud and luckily they are not at my house so I dont have much to to with them. But on Saturday the boys decided to move the "girl" pigs to another pen and I got recruited to help. So I took some pictures of them. I also got some pics of the babies because although they stink they are kinda cute.

Everything looked great, 10 fingers and 10 toes, and we were happy to find out we are having a baby GIRL! It was an absolute surprise for James and I. He had convinced me that it was a boy. But we are excited to know what it is so that we can start shopping and maybe even agree on a name.

Its so great to have a sister that is also your best friend. We actually nearly hated each other when we lived together and were growing up. But as soon as we were unable to be together everday we became really close. Now I talk to her everyday and we count down the days until we see each other next. BABY POLL!

So we find out out the gender of the baby in a week and a half! We can't wait, But we want everyone to guess if they think it will be a Boy or a Girl. James is alost "sure" its a boy. I honestly have no idea! All of these mothers tell me they knew what they were having before the ultrasound from dreams or intuition. I have dreams about babies but they are never MY babies. So I just don't know! So everyone leave their guess in my comments!!!

The baby is now the size of a sweet potatoe, kinda confusing because I know some oranges that are bigger that sweet potatoes! But only 2 weeks until we find out the sex. I started to feel the baby last week, now I feel it everynight!

So for the past three nights I have found this bottle of conditioner on the Sink in the bathroom. I bought it and didn't like it but I saved it underneath the sink in case I ever run out and need it. So for three days I put it back under the sink only to find it out again the next day...finally last night it dawned on me. So I asked James if he thought it was lotion. He looked at it and said "it isn't" for the past three days he has been rubbing conditioner on his arms and face! Too Funny!

Our little Orange!

OUr little one is now the size of an orange. lol But it is starting to play nice now, I am not sick everyday now just on occassion. I haven't gained any weight yet but I feel like I have.

Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements

2008 Year in Review

Jan- We were able to spend a long weekend in Mackay when Lindsey brought Braxten into the world. I enjoyed staying and holding him and also playing lots of linkin logs. James went ice fishing for the first time and took Jaten with him for an afternoon. They tied a "previously caught fish" to Jaten's spiderman pole and he loved catching the same fish over and over. Just 14 days later Ryan and Mckinzie brought Kambree into the world. I love being an aunt!

Feb-Brought more snow, It was a challenge everyday just to get to work. James took his annual guys trip to Vegas for NASCAR. While they were gone the girls got together for a girls night and then I spent the weekend in Mackay for Braxten's Blessing.

March-We went to Challis for a Fishing trip for "our" birthdays. We met up with our Friends Dave and Shila and went to Salmon for Dinner and dancing at a retirement party...little did we know that I would lose James' hand and fall and break my wrist during the first song! So we spent the rest of the night in the ER and then we headed home so that I could get a cast in Boise.

April-I spent most of the month trying to do everything with my left hand (never again) Even simple tasks like washing my hair became a problem, luckily James was a good sport about it all. For easter all of the Pearson family came to boise for Kambree's blessing.

May-After it got a little bit warmer we got the Boat out and did most of our skiing for the summer, it seems like as June and July get here we get busy and dont have as much time to go.

June- We spent a long weekend at Wolfe Creek in Utah with my family. It was fun to play in the pool, ride on the scooters and just hang out with the family.

July-Our friends Dave and Shila moved to Fruitland when Dave got a job with Fruitland PD. It has been so nice having them here. James and I won a trip to Lake Las Vegas with a bunch of our friends. We had a great time and enjoyed staying in the Ritz, Shopping, playing in the pool, and even a little gambling. We also went to Red Fish for a long weekend (my favorite place on earth)

August- I quit my full time job to work from home. Its always a challenge to not have the security of a regular pay check but we have been very blessed that things have worked out so good for us.

Sept- We spent Labor Day weekend at Redfish lake. It was so cold! Our friends Tommy and Sarah came with us and brought the motor home, which was good for us when we woke up monday morning to 6" of snow! The boys had no problem putting on their wetsuits and actually getting in the water to ski! We also celebrated our first Anniversary. James got me Sex in the city and even sat down and watched it with me (now thats true love!)

Oct-We found out we were Pregnant with our first child. Both us were both scared and excited. I went to Lindseys state volleyball tournament to help out and was able to surprise my mom with the good news. James' mom started jumping on the couch when we told them! James spent several weekends in Mackay hunting.

Nov-James spent a couple weekends steelhead fishing (his favorite)Ron and Wendy came up and we had an early Thanksgiving with them. All of my family was together for thanksgiving in Boise, as always it is great to have everyone together.

Dec-Greated me with lots of morning sickness (something I was sure I would never have!) After a month and a half of it I was finally given an RX that saved my life! We had a wonderful Christmas and we were able to spend it with both of our families.

We have been so blessed this year. I am so greatful for the wonderful family and friends that we have!

We got our tree all Decorated. I love this time of year. We have had such a great year. We feel so blessed.
We Got our christmas wish already, We have a baby coming in JULY! We just got its first Photo shoot done, everything looks great. We were laughing because when the ultrasound was on the baby started moving its hands up and down, James was so happy to see that our gummi bear is already rubbing his head...just like its dad!!! We are so excited and feel so blessed!

James REALLY wanted a real Tree this year. Growing up he never went into the mountains to get a tree, so I decided that if we were going to have a real tree it needed to be one from the mountains so we went up with three other families to get our First REAL tree. James did find a beautiful tree, yet he didn't realize that we don't have enough room in our small house for a 15 foot tree so after we cut it down to fit, it is charlie brownish, but I still love it!!!

I was very greatful that everyone could come to Boise this year for Thanksgiving. With James always having to work the next day it is really hard to make it to Mackay and back. But we had a great time. Ivie and Josh were great hosts. (Ivie has always been the hostess with the mostess!) We were also able to have dinner left overs the next night with James' Grandparents.

Our Primerica team had a big event in SLC this last weekend. We were the #2 Baseshop and we were competing against several baseshops that have been around 6 or 7 years and we have only been going since June. It was an awesome event!

One whole year. We celebrated our first anniversary yesterday. We didn't really do anything exciting. We went to dinner on Sunday and Monday James got inducted into the Elks!! I had appointments but I came late and got to see a couple of video's about the elks. I still don't really understand what they do...but James wanted to join because they have dinner every Tuesday for $4, and they have poker night once a month. His grandfather is an Elk so I guess they can go together.

But it has been a wonderful year. Everyone told us that the first year is the hardest, I really hope so because I didn't think it was hard at all. We have such a good time together, its great to spend every night with your best friend. I can't wait to spend the next 80 years with him. He is such a great guy, he works so hard and has a great heart. Plus he can always make me laugh and as long as I am laughing I can't complain.

He has them place a funnel in the edge of their pants and they place a penny on their head and try to get it into the funnel. James and I went to Mackay for the weekend, and since both of us had friday off we were able to leave earlier than usual, So we stopped at Craters of the Moon. I love that place and James has never been there so we stopped and walked around. We went to one cave but I wasn't prepared (I was wearing a dress and ballet slippers) But we had a good time.

James had a co-worker give him two large boxes of tomatoes. He really wanted me to help him make salsa but I haven't had any extra time this week, between finishing up my full time job and still working everynight. I was surprised to come home late wednsday night to find Dave and James making salsa. Not only did they make salsa, they also decided to can it. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CAN. But they figured it out and after six hours they came away with 5 and 3/4 canned jars of Salsa....can't wait for him to try making bread!

Roaring Springs

I had forgotten how much fun roaring springs is. Thanks to Dave and golds gym we all got free all day passes. We were excited to go and just lay in the sun, but after we got there we didn't sit at all. We went on all the slides, played in the wave pool and hung out in the lazy river. Dave and James would go on all the slides together because with the amount of weight they were able to put on one little tube they would go really fast. It was funny to see those big guys riding a tube together though.

Thanks to my family helping us out last minute James and I went number 1 in builders premium. We were suprised to find that not only were we staying in the Ritz Carlton but we were staying in an executive suite, courtesy of a head dude in our hierchy. $2300 a night for a suite that is 1000 sq feet. (our house is 1100 sq feet!) It was so cool. Our shower was the size of our bedroom at home.

1. What was I doing 10 years ago: Well It was the summer before my senior year. I worked at the school doing clean up projects with my mom and I moved pipe every morning and night. I did a lot of things preparing for my senior year as student body president. On the weekends we spent lots of time driving up and down main street, building fire's in the mountains to hang out around and camping.

2. What is on my to-do list for today?
1. Clean out our closet
2. study for life insurance license exam
3. find shila a house and a job (yeah she is moving to fruitland)
4. Make a salad for tonight's BBQ with the Blacks

3. What would I do if I suddenly became a billionaire? yell and scream...and then pay everything off, build a large house and invest the rest!
4. 3 Bad habits: (Just 3?)
1. Not making my bed in the morning, for some reason I wait until I get home from work
2. Locking the keys in my car... I am getting better with the keyless entry
3. Saving leftovers but never eating leftovers. It seems insane to throw good food away but it is really insane to keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks and have to throw out nasty leftovers.
5. Places I've lived: Mackay, ID Moscow, ID Pocatello, ID (don't tell anyone) Logan Ut, Boise, ID Meridian, ID, and now Fruitland, ID.
6. Places I have worked: day care, craters of the moon, 2 motels, dry cleaners, Doctors office, and now Specialty Billing
7. Things people don't know about me:
* I love Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches I could eat one everyday
* I hate the grocery store. Food is such a waist of money, because everything you buy just gets eaten...whats the point.
* I want to own my own photography studio someday.
* I eat burritos with ketchup and that is the only way I would every eat a burrito.
* I wish I had a green thumb, but I don't. I have managed to keep 2 house plants alive for 6 months now but I have killed off many others.

1st Boating outing of the Summer

We were so happy to take the boat out, the water was still really cold but with it being 96 degree's it felt great to be on the water again. We also got Chad and Tina on Skies!!! James did great on one and I am still stuck driving the boat...my hand is still not strong enough to ski!

Everyone knows that I really hate Spiders, So when I found 7 Black widow spiders in our house last fall I had a fit. But that fit was nothing compared to the Panic attack that I had saturday morning when I walked into the Laundry room and found thousands of bugs in our laundry room. They were crawling out of the holes they had dug in the walls, coming up from the window seal and they were all over. I started screaming for James, he automatically assumed that I had found another spider but this site even startled him. They were all over. So he threw a few of them in a ziplock and I ran to home depot and bought every can of bug spray I could find...

Termites!!! Ya I know most of you think there are not Termites in Idaho...Well your right except for Fruitland and Payette. I still feel them crawling on me!!

Big Boys wins Prize!

Okay so that wasn't the real headline but chad and jim did make the paper after we attended a fundraiser auction to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The basket was in honor of angie and they raised $2300 in raffle tickets. Chad won the basket full of breast cancer awareness items but since nothing would fit him and pink isn't really his color he donated it back to that we can raise more money for breast cancer. The 2nd weekend in June is "walk for life" all of us will take turns walking for 24 hours straight in honor of Angie.

3. Mothers are the BEST. Mothers day is such a great time of year to enjoy the warmth of spring and to BBQ and spend time together with family, and its really great because we get to reflect on just how wonderful Mom's are. I have been so lucky to have such a great mom who has also become a great friend. I also have wonderful grandmothers, I have been so lucky to have been able to grow up with 4 grandmothers watching my every move, and now I have added a wonderful mother in law who I could never thank enough for raising such a wonderful son. I love all of you MOMS!!

1. Happy Birthday Thomas-on the 20th
Thomas is a great kid with a great imagination. He asked me last weekend if James and I were going to have a baby, I am hoping he was just curious and that I don't "Look" like I am. Plus he is amazing at guitar hero. For some odd reason 9 year olds can move their fingers a lot faster than me.

2. I Kirby! the vacuum that is. James and I fell for some salesman's pitch...well we did talk him down but it was still a pricey purchase. But I LOVE it. I can vacuum with my stupid cast and with 2 dogs and spring shedding I am using it at least once a day. It sucks up spiders and I can stand at safe range. I don't even bother to sweep anymore, I just vacuum EVERYTHING. Oh I do love my KIRBY.

3. Happy 3rd Birthday to KYLA! I think it so great to watch my very-not-girly best friend raise a puffy, pink,purple, ribbon loving, lace, flowers and the works princess!! But Like I always tell her-"you get what you deserve!" But Kyla is an amazing three year old and I love her to pieces! Aunt Jawiss can't wait to see you, we do share a great love for the color PINK!

2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUSTIN..TOMORROW. DUSTIN HAS BEEN A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY. I REMEMBER WHEN HIM AND LINDSEY WERE DATING IN HIGH SCHOOL WE USE TO CALL HIM "CRUSTIN" WELL WE NEVER CALLED HIM THAT TO HIS FACE, SO SHORTLY AFTER THEY GOT MARRIED I SLIPPED AND CALLED HIM THAT. HE GAVE ME THAT SAD PUPPY EYED LOOK, BUT OUR TEASING WAS ALWAYS OUT OF LOVE.. AFTER ALL WITHOUT DUSTIN I WOULDN'T HAVE JATEN OR BRAXTEN!

3. I INTRODUCED JAMES TO PILLSBURY ROLLS, WELL HE HAS EATEN THEM MANY TIMES BUT NOW THAT I ONLY HAVE ONE HAND I ASKED HIM TO HELP ME OPEN IT. I LOOKED OVER...HE HAS A CAN OPENER HELD UP TO IT TRYING TO FASTEN IT ON TO"OPEN IT" I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING! YOU GOTTA LOVE HIM

WELL I AM STARTING TO GET USE TO THIS BLASTED CAST, ALTHOUGH I STILL HATE IT. BUT I AM ADAPTING (NOTICE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS) ALTHOUGH BY THE TIME I WENT FROM KIDNEY STONES TO A BROKEN ARM AND A SORE TAILBONE I FEEL OLD! ALL OF THIS ACCOMPANIED MY BIRTHDAY. THIS STRING OF LUCK BETTER NOT LAST THE WHOLE YEAR!

AND THEN TO ADD TO THIS JAMES HAD A NIGHTMARE THE OTHER NIGHT THAT HIS FRIEND JUSTIN WAS GETTING STABBED SO JAMES THREW THE GUY OFF OF HIM AND STARTED PUNCHING HIM. BEFORE HE COULD WAKE UP, I TOOK A BLOW TO THE FACE !THIS LEFT A CUT ON MY NOSE. IT REALLY DIDN'T HURT AT THE TIME BUT IT DOESN'T LOOK VERY GOOD. JAMES FELT SO BAD. I JUST HOPE THIS DOESN'T MEAN WE ARE GOING TO NEED SEPARATE BEDS IN THE FUTURE!!

I AM GOING TO SPEND THE NEXT 30 DAYS USING ONLY MY LEFT ARM, TYPE WITH MY LEFT, WRITE WITH MY LEFT, EAT WITH MY LEFT, EVEN SHAMPOO MY HAIR WITH ONLY MY LEFT! WELL ACTUALLY I AM NOT CHOOSING TO DO THIS, IT CHOSE ME. I HAD A SMALL ACCIDENT WHILE SWING DANCING THAT INVOLVED A VERY FAST, VERY UNGRACEFUL FALL, THAT LANDED ME ON TOP OF MY RIGHT ARM AND THEN ON MY TAIL BONE. LUCKILY WE WERE ONLY 4 MILES FROM A HOSPITAL. JAMES RAN OVER AND TOLD OUR FRIENDS THAT I BROKE MY ARM AND THEN HE LEFT ME TO GET THE TRUCK. DAVE AND SHILA STARTED TO LAUGH UNTIL THE SAW HOW DISFIGURED MY ARM WAS. JAMES WAS DRIVING FAST AND IN AND OUT OF SALMON IDAHO TRAFFIC, AS IF I WERE IN LABOR. WE MADE IT TO THE ER AND THE CALLED IN AN ORTHOPOD, HE CAME FROM THE SAME DANCE HALL THAT WE HAD,( HE ACTUALLY SAW ME FALL BUT I GOT RIGHT UP SO HE DIDN'T THINK MUCH OF IT) THE ER NURSE ASKED "SO WHERE WERE YOU?" WELL I WAS AT SOME SMALL DANCE HALL IN SOME SMALL TOWN FOR A RETIREMENT PARTY. THEN SHE ASKED "WHO RETIRED" WELL ACTUALLY I DON'T KNOW....SEE OUR FRIEND RON (WHO MARRIED US) WAS PLAYING IN A BAND THAT PLAYED FOR THE PARTY SO JAMES AND I ALONG WITH OUR BEST FRIENDS DAVE AND SHILA WERE KINDA CRASHING IT. SHE STARTS TO LAUGH BY NOW I GUESS ITS NOT REAL COMMON TO CRASH RETIREMENT PARTIES! THEN SHE ASKED "WELL WHAT HAPPENED" SO I HAD TO TELL HER THAT JAMES I WERE DANCING WHEN A JONNY CASH SONG CAME ON, JAMES LOVES JOHNNY CASH SO WE REALLY STARTED MOVING JAMES WAS SWINGING ME AROUND AND THEN BEHIND HIS BACK WHEN I MISSED HIS HAND AND WENT FLYING BACK LANDING ON MY RIGHT ARM, LUCKILY WE WERE IN SALMON AND THEY WERE ABLE TO SET IT AGAIN WITH OUT SURGERY.

IN THE MEAN TIME IT REALLY SUCKS ONLY HAVING MY LEFT ARM, I AM SO THANKFUL FOR JAMES HE HAS BEEN A REAL TROOPER HE HAS TO PRETTY MUCH HAD TO DO IT ALL INLUDING DRESS ME AND DO MOST OF THE HOUSE CHORES. I'LL ADD PICTURES SOON WHEN MY HUNNY GETS TIME TO HELP ME UP LOAD THEM!

The Golden Birthday!! When I was 18 I wrote a list of things I wanted to do before I die, kinda like a bucket list. Every year on my birthday I pick a couple of things on the list and get them checked off. For my 25th I jumped out of a plane, for my 26th I bought a boat, and now I am to this time of year again and I am not sure what to take off my list. One thing is to make a quilt (now that seems easy to a lot of you but for me it will probably be the only quilt I ever make. ) Another is to stand naked on a nude beach (I am unaware of any local nude beaches so I may have to save that one) I want to start my own business (however I haven't come up with any good idea's yet) I want to be the mom that jumps off the diving board at the local pool (but no kids yet) So I guess I'll give it some more thought this weekend and get something checked off the ole list.

She was really out of it when we went to visit her, come to find out James' dad misunderstood the nurse, she was on an automatic morphine drip and if her pain level got worse she could push a button to add more. Lonnie thought he was running the morphine so every thirty minutes he gave her a little more...needless to say she slept really well. Get Well Soon MOM.

One: Jaten is getting very use to me visiting all the time, we have been out to Mackay a lot lately. But now he knows how to call me so not only do I get to see him at least every weekend, now I get phone calls 2 or 3 times a day..all with very important information, like yesturday when he got a new Balloon!!! OH to be three again!

Two:

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn, this picture is a few months old but we decided to take the kids to the circus and last minute I decided I would take Haylee (james' niece) Kaitlyn got in the car and I intoduced her to Haylee. She looks at her brother Thomas and said "I'll let you sit by that EVIL Girl" That was the first time they had met they are great friends now. But Kaitlyn never lacks personality..thats why we love her!!

Three:

I love Spring!!! I wish that it was a little bit warmer yet, but I love spring flowers, the smell of rain, the grass turning green again, and spring means summer is comming and winter is officially gone!!

James' nephew Bradee looks just like James did at his age. His mom had a jewelry party and while I was looking at the jewelry, bradee came up to me and said "I found your mints" I didn't think much of it until I remembered that I didn't have any mints. I look over bradee doesn't have mints he has birth control!!! I guess it won't do him much harm unless he decided to take it everyday for a month.
